Villa Triopetra is a newly built three bedroom villa with its own private pool situated just above the long sandy beach of the same name, Triopetra Beach This 'off the beaten track' region of south central Crete (directly south of Rethymnon), stays relatively deserted even in the height of the summer and yet offers some of the loveliest sandy beaches and natural coast line in western Crete.

The villa sits on the slope of a small hill and is one of a small complex of four villas but each one is completely detached, and all are situated on different levels, which ensures all have uninterrupted sea views, which is essential in this area with the long beach below you and the sea stretching into the distance horizon.

The villa is built of natural stone and is on two levels with three bedrooms. One bedroom has a double bed with an ensuite bathroom and the other two bedrooms have twin beds. A family shower room is accessed from the inner hall. All bedrooms are air-conditioned. On the ground level is an open plan kitchen dining/living area from where doors lead to a pergola covered terrace. Steps from here lead down to the pool and a surrounding patio.

The villa is in the region of Agia Paraskevi. Kerames, which is 5kms away, is the closest village with any facilities. The beach is approximately 1 kilometer distant. There are tavernas by the beach and there is a mini-market in Kerames.

The closest town of any size is Spili, a pretty hill village known for its cobbled streets, flower filled balconies and Venetian fountain and where you can find everything from local crafts to fresh local produce. Spili can be reached in less than 30 minutes from Triopetra.

Less than an hour away, (and a must during your stay), is the captivating Venetian harbour town of Rethymnon. In the evening a handful of tavernas in the area offer excellent local cuisine - thats if you can drag yourselves away from the evening serenity of the pool terrace!
