Situated on the side of a small hill within the resort of Almeritha these brand new apartments (finished just last year) offer high quality accommodation and a superb location. They are ideally positioned within easy reach of the resort’s facilities and its pretty sandy beach. In just five minutes (on foot) you can be dipping your toe in the crystal clear water, buying fresh bread and tasty pastries from the bakery or enjoying a cool drink and an appetising dinner in one of the handful of tavernas idyllically situated right next to the sea!

Each two bedroom maisonette is spaciously built on two levels. The comfortable bedrooms are upstairs (both with twin beds), as is one of the bathrooms. On the ground level there is a second bathroom and an open plan living/kitchen/dining area where the sofa can convert to two extra beds if required. The apartments are air-conditioned throughout and the well-equipped kitchen includes a washing machine. The bedrooms both have private balconies and a patio leads directly from the living area, which overlooks the lovely pool that sits picture-perfect at the front of the apartments.

Pegasos’ excellent location and design also ensures every apartment equally enjoys fantastic sea views and spectacular sunsets.

The surrounding region offers a stunning natural beauty with traditional hillside and coastal villages dotted between many of Western Crete’s known attractions. Almeritha makes a good base to visit some of these sites which include the colourful freshwater Lake of Kournas, the historical site of Hellenistic Aptera, the 14th century monasteries of Agia Triada and Gourveneto, the picturesque Gorges of Samaria and Imbros, the very lovely Venetian harbour town of Chania and, one for all the family, the Limnoupolis waterpark!

A car is certainly not essential for a stay at the Pegasos Apartments so if you prefer, private taxi transfers can be arranged on arrival and departure.
