The Platanaki Apartments have the most wonderful location perched on a small hillside overlooking the emerald inlet of Kerveli Bay on the south east coast of Samos. This tranquil spot, a relaxing haven, is absolutely wonderful. It offers simplicity and nature, stunning views, as well as ease of access to island life if you feel the need to drag yourself away from this idyllic spot! Situated just 7 kms from Samos town and approximately 20 minutes drive from the seaside resort of Pythagorio gives the opportunity to explore the local region easily. Pythagorio offers an insight into the history of the island at its archaeological sites and a picturesque harbour, which offers a choice of enticing tavernas that enjoy picturesque harbour views. For the intrepid explorer Samos town gives the opportunity to visit further afield as boat trips offer visits to neighbouring Turkey and the Greek island of Patmos.
The Platanaki apartments consist of a choice of two bedroom apartments and one bedroom apartments. All of the apartments are detached and each one enjoys the same marvellous sea views. Each is comfortable, quiet and well equipped with spacious living/dining areas, one or two bedrooms, shower rooms and large sea facing balconies or terraces.
The beautifully clear water of Kerveli Bay can be accessed in just a couple of minutes walk from the apartments and Platanaki's owner has thoughtfully added a simple snack cafe where you can find sun beds and umbrellas on a small terrace just above the beach. Five minutes by car beyond Kerveli Beach is another small pebble beach and another beautiful bay where a handful of inviting tavernas sit overlooking the gorgeous clear water.
