Posidonio is situated just round the headland from Kerveli Bay, where the Platanaki Apartments are located, and, like Kerveli, it provides an authentic and idyllic seaside setting.

More of a village than Kerveli, Posidonio has sprung out of the few fishermen’s houses that once were the only sign of life here, now there is a handful of accommodation, a little mini-market for some essentials and a wonderfully situated taverna, serving excellent food, (including fresh fish of course), that sits almost on the water looking directly on to the blue tranquil bay.

The Posidonio Apartments are a collection of studios and apartments, with an inviting swimming pool, that sit just behind the pebble beach, literally a stones throw from everything in this simplistic little place. They offer simple accommodation virtually on the beach with one or two bedrooms, a living/dining area (where an extra one or two people could sleep), a kitchenette and shower room. All of the apartments have balconies and all are sea-facing.

In our opinion Posidonio is an idyllic and simple little place where you have no choice but to relax in the most enchanting of settings. But, like Kerveli, it also makes a convenient and tranquil base for exploring the island as, even the furthest southwest corner, takes less than two hours to reach from here.
